Júlia Benkovics, M.D.

I graduated from Semmelweis University in 2013 and I have been working full-time at Ferenc Jahn South Pest Teaching Hospital ever since. I come from a big family, I have four siblings, so I have always been surrounded by expectant mothers and babies. This is one of the reasons why I chose to be a obstetrician/gynaecologist.
My priority is the connection between obstetrics and psychology. Prevention and preconceptional care are also very close to me. Communication between doctors and patients is highly important for me, I always try to use clear and understandable language, so we can discuss the questions and problems during an informal conversation. All the moments I have spent as a doctor is memorable, I think each and every person, every patient is a unique story, all pregnancies and births are touching from beginning to end, obstetrics/gynaecology is an exciting and beautiful experience.
My husband is also a gynaecologist so we like spending our free-time to train ourselves. We often go to forums and lectures about the links between psychosomatics and childbirth. Besides that, we like sports, hiking and going to the theatre.
