Judit Szabó, M.D.

I graduated from the university in 1983. I have been a paediatrician ever since, and also a neonatologist since 1993. I have been working in obstetrics for about 20 years, care of healthy babies, the problems and solutions are the closest to my heart, so neonatology is very important to me.
I pay special attention to infections during infancy, the problems of infectious diseases are my main field of interest, I have been doing a lot of research in the topic. The key thing in working at the neonatal unit is that the problems need to be recognized in time and problems need to be carefully examined in order to solve it in a way that it does not compromise the health of the newborn. Fast identification and successful solutions always make me happy, all these experiences are momentous, and these are the moments that make me do my job with the same love and motivation.
I have two grandchildren, I spend my free-time with them hiking and playing together. Following their life is the most important to me, but I also like reading and winter sports, especially skiing.
