I graduated from Semmelweis University of Medicine in 1987. Following that, I worked at Csepel Hospital until 1993, during which I completed my specialist examination in obstetrics and gynaecology. From 1993 onwards, I worded at the Kútvölgy Street Hospital, right until Maternity was established, which makes a member of this private clinic since its beginning. I participated in laparoscopic training and hold a license in ultrasound examination.
The field I love the most is obstetrics, in which the miracle of birth had captivated me from the very beginning. Natural childbirth to be a matter close to my heart, and I consider accompanying, supporting and experiencing it is the most beautiful part of my profession.
It is difficult to single out just one defining memory, as everything we experience as obstetricians and gynaecologists stays with us. I do have one story that is both very dear and important to me, related to my profession. At that time, I received a message from an unknown 15-year-old girl on an old social media platform. It was an informal, casually worded, not too long letter. She said she wrote to me because while we didn’t know each other personally, there was a connection: 15 years ago, her mother decided to keep her as a result of talking to me. No one else in the entire world has received a letter like this besides me, I am quite sure of that, and to this day I think back of it quite fondly. Of course, every childbirth is a miracle and has an impact on me, on us, just as we leave an impact after ourselves. These stories and feedback indicate that I am doing what I was meant to do.
I like to spend my free time with my family. We have a golden retriever, who keeps us very busy. I love to travel and collect experiences. If I can, I spend my time in the outdoors, hiking in the mountains. I also love to go skiing, to the theatre, the cinema and to concerts. If I am at home, a book somehow always finds its way into my hands.
