After graduating from university, I applied to the National Institute of Neurosurgery, where I worked as an anaesthesiologist for 25 years. During this time, I spent a total of 3 years in the United States, with some interruptions, doing scientific research.
I continued work at the National Korányi Institute of TB and Pulmonology, under Frigyes Kulka and Professor István Pénzes, in order to develop my knowledge in anaesthesiology.
As fate would have it, I was later asked to head the Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care at the National Institute of Neurosurgery. I spent 10 years in this position. Then at the start of the 2000’s, I managed the intensive care department of the Emergency Care Unit of Szent Imre Hospital for 8 years.
In 2020, I came to Maternity Clinic at the request of Dr. Petronella Hupuczi, where I have been working as an anaesthesiologist ever since.
I spend a significant portion of my free time at the Pesthidegkúti Reformed Church, where I engage in diaconal activities. I care for elderly, downtrodden, lonely, and ill people. I talk with them, and we pray together. Many of them have families and are still lonely, in need of conversation and often both physical and spiritual assistance.
