General gynecology practice
Regarding gynecological problems, we are committed to providing our patients with the highest expertise and up-to-date solutions. In our gynecological practices, we conduct examinations of the female pelvic organs. We examine symptom-free patients and those presenting with problems in various ways. Gynecological symptoms and problems may include pain, bleeding, various inflammatory conditions, infections, or the prolapse of the pelvic organs.
The examination includes gynecological consultation, general gynecological examination, and annual cytological sampling. It is important to note that with regular gynecological screening examinations, diseases associated with HPV infections, such as cervical cancer, can be prevented or successfully treated.
Patients may contact us with questions about contraception, problems related to their sexual life, as well as questions about intrauterine contraceptive devices (IUDs), including their insertion and removal.
Gynecological ultrasound
As part of our gynecological ultrasound examination, we focus on examining the female pelvic organs (uterus, ovaries) and identifying any potential illnesses. These may include various benign and malignant abnormalities, many of which can be detected early on through ultrasound examination. Ultrasound can provide a good initial guidance for their treatment and investigation.
Sampling
Sampling performed for various microbiological examinations is an important part of screening tests and the examination of various gynecological problems.
Gynecological sampling involves procedures during which the gynecologist collects one or more samples from various secretions or the surfaces of female reproductive organs, for diagnostic or screening purposes. These samples may be tissue fragments, cells, or secretions. They can assist the doctor in determining if there are infections or cytological abnormalities in the area. They can serve as a starting point for developing therapies and planning further treatments.
Endometriosis outpatient clinic
Endometriosis is a gynecological condition in which the inner layer of the uterus, the endometrium, also appears outside the uterus: on the ovaries, the fallopian tubes, or other abdominal organs. This disease often involves chronic pain, can cause fertility issues, and frequently results in menstrual disorders. Treatment depends on the severity of the disease and may involve medication or surgical intervention. At our clinic, the examination and treatment of the disease are carried out by excellent physicians specialising in endometriosis. Our doctors are available to provide assistance regarding both conservative and surgical solutions.
Menopause counselling
Menopause or climacteric is the natural stage in a woman’s life when ovarian hormonal activity declines. Menopause typically occurs in the early fifties for most women, but the age can vary from person to person. Menopause lasts for approximately 1–3 years and may be accompanied by several years of uncomfortable vegetative and psychological symptoms. We address the problems that arise during this period, their prevention, and treatment at our specialised clinic, where we welcome all patients who are approaching menopause or those already experiencing symptoms.
Adolescent outpatient clinic
Before engaging in sexual activities, it is recommended for every young girl to have a gynecological consultation meeting, where they can openly ask questions without anxiety, regarding both sexual activities and contraception.
We welcome girls under 18 at our teenage outpatient clinic, to answer their questions regarding safe sexual activities, or any problems or issues that they might have. Common complaints include irregular bleeding, vaginal discharge, genital or vaginal itching, and recurrent urinary tract infections, which can be frightening for a young girl but usually indicate easily diagnosable and treatable conditions.
Our specialists provide information about sexually transmitted diseases, their prevention and treatment, as well as the available screening tests. Our goal is to provide teenagers with the medical and personal support they need to feel safe, as establishing a practice of regular check-ups and health awareness in patients at a young age can have a positive impact on their health in the future.
Dóra Kopp, M.D., Mária Madarász, M.D. and Antónia Fürich, M.D. welcome young patients at our teenage outpatient clinic.
Reproductive endocrinology

Our specialised and excellent endocrinologists Ibolya Fazekas, M.D. and László Béres, M.D. help diagnose and treat issues such as ovulatory disorders, menstrual cycle irregularities, infertility, hormonal imbalances, and other problems related to the reproductive system.
