BECOMING A FAMILY PROGRAM
Ever since its establishment, Maternity Private Clinic has strived to support families with children and ensure that the shared and defining experience of childbirth would be memorable for the mother, the father, and the newborn alike. Every employee of the clinic actively participates in creating this shared experience from doctors through nurses to nutrition specialists, in addition to both parents. In line with this endeavour, throughout the 9 months of pregnancy, our professionals prepare expectant parents for the proper care of their newborn and during their time spent at the hospital with the father, they learn practical tasks as well, such as breastfeeding and bathing.
Our goal is for the new family to depart from the hospital satisfied, with great experiences. Therefore, we call this comprehensive program the “BECOMING A FAMILY PROGRAM”, as developed by Maternity and the conditions required for it only exist with us. We consider this program important because the experiences gained during prenatal care, childbirth and the days following greatly influence future plans and decisions regarding childbearing. As such, it is very important that the parents depart from the hospital satisfied, with great experiences.
Having a child is a major decision, so it is of paramount importance that both the care provided is impeccable, both on a professional level and in terms of communication. Furthermore, it is equally important for participants to truly experience the preparation for the baby’s arrival and the first days as a family together. Involving fathers can make this significant process of change much more intimate and easier which also has a beneficial effect on the parents’ relationship. As the unity of family becomes stronger, it becomes so much clearer that the child is the most beautiful and greatest gift, given by life itself. Our foundation’s goal is, in close collaboration with Maternity Private Clinic to redistribute the proceeds to all employees participating in the BECOMING A FAMILY program, providing even more opportunities for their professional and scientific development and participation in conferences. With this, we also contribute to the advancement of Hungarian obstetrics and gynaecology.
