Venous Doppler ultrasound of limbs

This examination is recommended in case of acute or chronic swelling of the leg or constant pain in the limbs to estimate the expansion of scleroses, the extent of stenosis and to identify embolism. Doppler examination of the veins has a substantial role in identifying thrombosis.
