GABRIELLA VAJDA, M.D.

Obstetrician and gynecologist resident

The story of how I became a doctor goes back to my early years. I can’t recall the exact moment I made the decision—it feels as though I was always destined to pursue a healing profession. At first, it was my innate desire to help others that guided me, a motivation that deepened over time as I came to admire the intricate workings of the human body through my studies. I feel truly grateful that in my everyday work I can experience the beauty of a helping profession while also nurturing my passion for the natural sciences.

I earned my medical degree at Semmelweis University, Faculty of Medicine, graduating Summa cum laude. Beyond gaining a thorough understanding of the foundations of medicine, my university years also taught me the importance of humility in this profession. I strive to continuously expand and update my knowledge so that I can truly honor the trust of those who turn to me for care.

In the field of obstetrics and gynecology, I find it essential to approach not only the physical symptoms but also the emotional and psychological aspects of womanhood with sensitivity and empathy. Whether it’s pregnancy or a gynecological concern, we must never lose sight of the inseparable unity of body and soul. During examinations and consultations, I aim to create a calm and safe environment where my patients can discuss their questions and worries openly—free from fear or taboo.

I first joined Maternity Private Clinic as a medical student, working as an outpatient assistant. I was immediately struck by the kindness and helpfulness of the team. I grew so fond of this environment—where respect and attentiveness are shown not only to patients but to one another as colleagues—that it became clear to me after graduation that this is where I wanted to continue my career.

My main professional interests include antenatal care, contraceptive counseling, and the treatment of gynecological infections.
